I would like to begin by saying that creating this post took me a long-long time, partly because there aren't a lot of images (in comparison to Serena and Blair) on Google when you search for "Chuck Bass fashion" (which is a pity considering he is one of the most fashionable men I have ever seen, so what if he is fictional), but mostly because I got so distracted looking at Ed Westwick (sigh...)
Getting back to the point, Chuck Bass is eccentric, flamboyant, determined, sly and so very desirable. His style is flashy, and seldom can be over the top. When I think of Chuck Bass, I think of a peacock. Always ready to flash his feathers and show off, the minute he sees someone from the opposite sex. His juvenile flamboyance gives way for a more mature, settled, and responsible, yet troubled adult which is why his style in the future episodes, mellows down but he still has that 'Chuck Bass' twist that he adds to his outfits.
He chooses unconventional color combinations like purple and green that men would stay away from and executes them with panache. Well, the only reason it works for him is because "He is Chuck Bass."
The main elements of dressing like Chuck Bass are:
1) Be experimental: Conventional is another word for boring. Chuck Bass can be anything but conventional, he chooses unique color combinations and experiments with various styles. He loves to spice things up, and that reflects in his style.
i) Experiment with color - Never shy away from using bold and unique colors.

ii) Experiment with cuts and style - Take a cue from Chuck Bass and wear unusual style combinations like shorts with shin length socks and a long sleeved sweater on top of a shirt with a bow-tie.

2) Always be classy even when you are actually trashy
We all know, that Chuck can be a bit of a douche sometimes (Read: trading your girlfriend for a hotel and sleeping with your best-friend's girlfriend), but he does have a good side, that shines through more and more as the episodes progress. Despite his character's peaks and troughs he always maintains the illusion of being a classy alpha male from the Upper East side. You would never spot Chuck in a plain tee and shorts like a commoner - no no! You can spot him from a mile away, looking suave in his designer suit and tie.

3) Pocket squares and ties (or bow-ties) are signs of a well-bred man
As the episodes progress, Chuck is shown to mature into a shrewd businessman and his style brilliantly reflects that. Never will you spot him sans pocket square and tie. He always is well accessorized and well-presented like a billionaire businessman should be.

The indicators mentioned above are mere guidelines. No one can truly achieve Chuck's look (one can try). But if you up your confidence by x100, earn (or inherit) a few billion dollars and take immense pride in your appearance you may be inching closer to the goal. Good luck Chuck wannabe! xoxo
